Product Manager

Our client, an innovative, fast-growing company in the international accommodation sector, dedicated to providing a high-quality digital platform to a global customer base, is looking to expand their presence in international markets. They are currently seeking a talented and experienced Globalisation Product Manager to improve their multilingual and culturally adapted website.

As the Globalization Product Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the website’s global success by creating a user-friendly and culturally relevant online experience for their international audiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Design, Development, and Content, to deliver a world-class website that resonates with a diverse customer base and drives business growth in various regions.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive globalisation strategy for the website, ensuring seamless user experiences across different countries and languages.
  • Lead the localisation efforts to adapt website content, images, and other elements to resonate with regional audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and culturally sensitive web designs that enhance user engagement.
  • Coordinate with developers to implement localisation features and ensure website functionality in multiple languages.
  • Conduct user research and analysis to understand the preferences and behaviours of diverse international audiences.
  • Monitor website performance and conduct A/B testing to optimise user experiences and increase conversion rates.
  • Work closely with content creators to produce multilingual and culturally appropriate content for the website.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, trends, and innovations in web design and globalisation to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage and prioritise website development projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with SEO specialists to optimise website rankings in different regions and languages.

The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on website design and globalisation. They will hold a solid understanding of user experience (UX) principles and web design best practices. They will have familiarity with localisation tools and techniques as well as multilingual content management systems (CMS). In addition to strong analytical skills, you will also possess strong proficiency in SEO and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to measure website performance. A bachelor’s degree or any certifications in a relevant discipline would be highly desirable, as well as fluency in any additional languages.
