Business Development Manager

Our Client, who have been around for twenty years, are an innovative software product focused company and they are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team.
With a minimum of 5 years software sales experience, and an ability to act on your own initiative, this will be the perfect role for you. With incredible drive and determination, you will have the ability to present technical software solutions at a senior level.
- Marketing and lead generation through telesales and cold calling
- Set appointments, prepare and present proposals and attend meetings
- Negotiate and close deals
- Build opportunities for future business and maintain this pipeline
- Plan and participate in events, software workshops, mailings etc.
The successful candidate will have experience of selling into the educational sector and have MIS product experience. You will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and be highly articulate. You will be extremely organised with excellent time management, and should be able to develop and work to processes. The successful candidate will be a licensed driver, as you will be required to visit client sites on occasion.

Are you able to demonstrate a solid and successful sales track record?
Are you a UK licensed driver?
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + uncapped commission
